MY LATEST PROJECT: GRAB YOUR COAT

This post requires an introduction before we leap straight into the pics – I know that’s what you really want to see, so I won’t keep you long. If we go back to the beginning of the year, my good friend, Jen and myself decided we needed a hobby and after attending a swap-shop event one evening we realised with her PR degree and my Fashion degree there was no reason why we couldn’t plan and execute an event like that ourselves.

We decided quite early on that we wanted to do vintage pop-up shops and after Jen did her online research we found that this market is already quite saturated, so a niche was needed. We both love coats and jackets so I think it’s fair to say that was one of the easiest decisions throughout this whole project. And there we have it, the idea was born.

And finally after months of gathering the most unique and eye catching vintage coats, we can announce that Jen and myself will be showcasingΒ in pop-up shops and vintage fairs around the UK with our new company: Grab Your Coat.

Here is a taster of some of the jackets we have been collecting over the last few months, all can be seen, drooled over and tried on at our first pop-up shop…details coming soon. Stay posted on our Instagram and Facebook to find out when and where.

But believe, me we have A LOT more to show you, and we can’t wait to either! These coats are currently taking over both our flats, my parents house and also my car. Yes, that is how much we have to show you.

Special thanks to our amazing models Chelsey and Hayleigh, thanks for supporting us gals!
