Skirt of my Dreams

Hello, I hope you are all enjoying your bank holiday weekend!

Even though I’m poor this month and I still owe people money from my poor state last month I could not resist this dream of a skirt from Zara. It’s everything I could possibly hope for in a pleather skirt: the peachy colour, which I think I can pull through to Autumn with a thick pair of black tights and chunky boots; the highness of the waist where it sits comfortably above the belly button so I don’t offend anyone’s eyes when I wear a crop top, but also the shape. I think I have finally decided A line shaped skirts are my friend. But the best part is it was only £25.99, I think that justifies a purchase.

Shout out to Chelsey for letting me borrow this fab top, can’t believe its from Primark, I may just have to invest in one for myself. And this bag, well it’s safe to say I have some pretty great friends buying me this for my birthday, they know me so well. Bet you were shocked when you read it was from Jones Bootmaker – fashionable and Jones aren’t really two things I consider together but hey my eyes have been opened!

This is also probably a good time to let anyone who’s interested know that I started a new job this week as Topshop Brand Specialist at Outfit. One week in and I’m really enjoying it so far, it’s a joy to merchandise clothing that I love and be given freedom to be innovative and inventive with mannequin displays and wall creatives. I’m definitely feeling that my work I’ve put in this week hasn’t gone unnoticed.
