If I’ve learnt one thing while making this blog post it’s that a little fake tan wouldn’t hurt. I didn’t realise how pale I am at the moment! Maybe it’s about time Andy and I organised a sunny holiday..hint hint.
So this week I thought it would be rude of me not to acknowledge the fact that it’s Valentine’s Day on Sunday and so I have created a look that I would wear for a dinner and drinks date with my boyfriend. This outfit it quite dark with a gothic/biker look about it but I’ve balanced that out with a purple lip and hey presto that makes it Valentines ready 🙂
If you’ve followed my blog regularly you may remember those topshop crinkle culottes I bought; well this is the maxi skirt version of them. I just love them to bits and personally think they are the most fashionably versatile item I’ve bought, ever. So, naturally I bought the skirt too and soon I will wear this to death also (prepare now to see this pop up again and again). But seriously this skirt has been great already, it’s just above the ankles so perfect during the day at work with flats or Chelsea boots but because of the daring leg split it’s nice enough to be worn on a night out with maybe a backless body and statement jewellery.
I’m currently getting peace to write this sitting on an empty train heading back to Aberdeen for a few days (yay). Reason being, we have our next Grab Your Coat event taking place tomorrow! It’s at the Lou Lou’s Vintage fair in Dundee tomorrow so if you are in the area come and see us! Head to our Instagram for full details if you wanna!
And make sure you are following me on my Instagram to see what I’m up to day to day (I mean I don’t actually have that much of an exciting life so feel free not to as well, you know, you’re call) 🙂
